Issue Position

Approximately 400,000 Minnesotans have no health insurance and another 1,000,000 Minnesotans cannot afford the rising cost of health care that they have. Minnesotans deserve a better health care system, a system that provides people with choice of physician, which does not end when someone changes careers or loses their job, and does not disqualify people who have a pre-existing condition. Travis believes that the Minnesota Health Plan will provide the health care reform that Minnesotans are demanding. Given the complexity of our health care system, Travis pledges to spend the next two years working with to ensure that these reforms are the best option for Minnesota.
